Zi Wei Dou Shu, or ZiWei Astrology describes your past, present and future in twelve life categories, such as Destiny, Wealth, Love, Career, Health, Children, Parents, etc. Using your birthday and time, you derive what is commonly known as the 8 Pillars of Life(some of you may know this as your Ba Zi),with which you map out the various positions of stars at your birth, and calculate the effects they have on your life.
Unlike common astrology,numerology or other forms of future telling, Ziwei Astrology divides the calculation into 2 segments – Life and Luck.Life is what is believed to be given to us at birth, and just like we cannot control when we are born, certain things in life are fixed from the moment of birth, such as who our parents are, what personality we hold, what kind of
environment we are born, etc. Luck,on the other hand, is a mapping of the astrological cycles with our time on this planet, and like the underlying currents, are the variables we can work with or against, for better or worse. Most people may argue that this kind of "future telling" is fake or clashes with one's religions belief, but i can personal guarantee that to a certain extent, the results you get is somehow quite "zhun" .
